Meet the Producers

Our products are made using a mixture of traditional techniques, such as sand casting and thread-beading, and new/enhanced production methods that improve efficiency, quality standards, and safety.

Fair production is central to our brand ethos, so we only work with producers who pay their employees a living wage. We have spent over two years establishing relationships with workshops in Nairobi and Mombasa that provide valuable employment and training opportunities under strict Fairtrade guidelines.

Artisan Fashion

Artisan Fashion works with community groups in and around Nairobi. Used by a number of established European fashion houses, they help provide stable employment and training opportunities for artisans.

Blessed Graphics

Blessed Graphics provides perspex cutting services in the heart of Nairobi. We work with them to develop design concepts and efficiently manage production of perspex components to be used by artisans.

Bombolulu Workshop

Bombolulu employs over 100 differently abled craftsmen and women in Mombasa. They are one of the leading workshops in Kenya providing employment for marginalised individuals under Fairtrade guidelines.

Founded by Morteza Saifi and Evgeniya Khromina Panah is a unique fashion production house situated in Jamhuri Park, Nairobi. With strong ethical guiding principles they provide a clean, safe working environment, excellent training and pay above the average wage. The production house offers a complete set of services including consulting, sourcing, and manufacturing to both local and international brands, thereby helping to build the capacity for high-end fashion production in Kenya.

Peter Ekela

Peter Ekitela trained under Kenyan jeweller Sally Dudmesh for 7 years, becoming a master silversmith. We work closely with Peter to finish new perspex and brass design samples for production.

Buy Kenya Build Kenya

We support ‘Buy Kenya Build Kenya’ – an initiative to promote local industry through procurement of locally made products.

We therefore source as much of our product materials, packaging, marketing resources, and business support as possible from Kenyan companies.
